We hope this finds you all warm and well. We know its a busy time of year but just wanted to remind you that the Pathhead Choir and Community Singing Group Christmas Concert is coming soon and then the traditional PMC family ceilidh. There are also some opportunities to do some relaxed Xmas shopping too – no Black Friday stampedes are expected for our new merchandise but we’ll have some burly bassists and drummers on standby just in case!
Very best wishes

Sophie Bancroft’s new album is on the press as we speak (and she is more than a little excited to see the end result). Recorded earlier this year at Castlesound Studios it features American pianist Louis Durra and Tom Lyne. Copies will be available at the Choir concert so bring your purse.
Inge Thomson’s new album ‘Da Fishing Hands’ is not officially released until January but you can buy a pre-release copy from her website and hear for yourself why she has been nominated for ‘Composer of the Year’.
Both albums feature artwork by Pathhead-based Van Gill Media.

DANCE OFF THE CHRISTMAS POUNDS:
AFRICAN DANCE CLASSES WITH ADIE BAAKO!
Adie has trained as a traditional Ghanian Dancer for over ten years and this is his third trip to Scotland. In this course he will explore some new dances as well as developing one or two others already taught in Pathhead earlier this year. Both the children’s & adult courses are suitable for all abilities. You should wear loose clothing and be prepared for a healthy workout, but fear not, this form of dance is very accessible and fun for all!
Adie has been working with the Akrowa Drumming & Dance group in Ghana to make new recordings for us to work with over a six week period, so whilst we will miss the “live” Scottish drumming, we will have the real African thing playing through the PA.
Booking is essential. You can reserve a place on this course by e-mailing email@example.com If you have any questions, please call Amy on 07968 009903.
Pathhead Village Hall, Tuesdays 6th January – 10th February inclusive 2015.
Children (age 5 -12) 4.30 – 5.30pm
