MARCH 2013 : PMC NEWS

Hello! Welcome to the March 2013 PMC newsletter.

As you know, the Pathhead Music Collective runs various local community music groups and activities including The Pathhead Fiddlers, The Pathhead Choir and community samba band Kaboodle, as well as Family Ceilidhs, concerts, The Wee Song House and a new Scholarship fund for Young Musicians. Because we have been awarded the Creative Place Award 2013 from Creative Scotland to enable us to develop our music programme we will be able to expand our community music activities, put on more concerts and make music more accessible to the local community over the next year.

We are in the initial planning stages for this exciting Creative Place year and would very much like to know your thoughts on music in our community. Your involvement over the next year is really important to us. We would be very grateful if you would take a few minutes to fill out our online questionnaire. We are also distributing the questionnaire via the Grapevine magazine, and various community locations in the area.

If you know of anyone local with a relevant service that may like to be mentioned in the newsletter please do ask them to get in contact and if you know anyone who would be interested in receiving the PMC newsletter, please ask them to email via the website.

With best wishes

The PMC
