In the morning we will do fun warm ups together then work in groups on first instrument. This session will focus on technique & learning new material.
After lunch there will be a “surprise” session doing something new with a guest tutor. We will then divide into bands of mixed instruments according to age and ability for the rest of the afternoon. This session will focus on playing together, creating dynamic and exploring new types of music. You can play your main instrument or a second or even a third, (and just maybe all three!)
VENUES & OTHER INFO.
We will use the Village Hall in Pathhead, as well as St Mary’s Chapel and possibly some teaching spaces in tutors’ homes if numbers attending are high. Snacks & drinks will be provided, but please provide a packed lunch for your child each day. Your child must bring their own instrument(s) each day and they should be in good working order. All of our main tutors are registered with Disclosure Scotland and Pathhead Music Collective has an up to date child protection policy.
